Also scan any 2D barcode (QR Code, Datamatrix, EZcode) that you find in print, packaging, or business cards to launch specific websites, videos, or contact information (it will always ask you to confirm before taking any action).

You can view a Live Feed of scanning activity right from the app, and click on products to view the information.

We take your privacy seriously, so it is important to understand why we ask for certain permissions.

"Services that cost you money":
QR Codes can launch a number of actions on your device like dialing a phone number or sending an SMS message. We will show you the phone number or SMS message but we will not complete the action unless you click Dial or Send.

"Hardware controls":
The application requires video permission because we need to access the camera to scan barcodes.

"Your location":
Location is used to give you more relevant information like local prices when available. You will be prompted before Location data is sent.
